I finally made it out to the golf course yesterday. It really shouldn't have taken this long, it is right behind the house after all. I haven't been golfing since last September, and my score reflected that. Still, I made some really good shots, and some not so good ones as well. It was really enjoyable, except on the second hole. I guess I walked too close to a nesting area because I was attacked by a bird. It was a redwing blackbird, and she pecked me on the head not once, but twice.

The weather yesterday became hotter as the day went on. It wound up getting to 92, and with humidity 104. Fortunatly, there was enough of a breeze that it never felt as hot as it was. Sometime very early this morning the power was out for a few minutes. When it comes back, my bedroom lights come on at full brightness. This is never a great way to get woken up.
